Maris Slezins (born 29 December 1983 in Riga, Latvia) is the current president of the World Street Workout and Calisthenics federation.

Career

Best known as the leader of the World Street Workout and Calisthenics federation and with his work with juveniles in Latvia. Maris Slezins has organized more than 400 visits of schools and children's homes to motivate the adolescents to turn to a healthy lifestyle. He has organized more than 100 Street workout master classes throughout Latvia.

Judge of the Street Workout National competitions in Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Spain, Ukraine and Estonia. Maris organized the first Nation Team Street Workout Cup in 2012 in Moscow, Russia. Has organized Street Workout World Cup 2013 with stages in Madrid, Taipei, Fredrikstad, Offenburg, Riga, New York, Chelyabinsk, Zagreb and Super final in Moscow.

Has organized the Street Workout World Championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013 in Riga, Latvia. In 2012 became the winner of the competition for the opportunity to be one of the speakers at the international conference TEDxBled Slovenia.

Up to 18 years of age received 14 Latvian championship awards in athletics. Set a Latvian youth record for 1500m Steeplechase. International athletics competition winner. Baltic Junior Champion in triathlon and duathlon. The total collection of more than 100 medals and more than 300 degrees.

Has received the title of “Latvian Golden Talents” together with the street workout team (the format of the show is identical with America's Got Talent).
