Marc McVeigh

Marc McVeigh is currently the starting quarterback for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.

He came straight out of Brookswood Secondary School in Langley, British Columbia to the T-Birds and was put behind the helm in the middle of the season after starter Doug Goldsby went down with injury. The rookie quarterback was unsuccessful leading his team into the playoffs but after a rookie season there is major hopes for this young star. He showed promise in defeating the Simon Fraser Clan in Shrum Bowl [...] and put the T-Birds up in their 30 year history to 15-14-1.

In the five games Marc played this year he rushed for 123 Net yards, he completed 73 of 161 for 45% for a total of 966 yards and a total of 6 TDs and averaged 183.8 yards per game in the 2007 campaign.
