Marblemedia
marblemedia (also known as marblemedia Incorporated) is a Toronto, Ontario, Canada based production company that produces cross platform projects. The company is probably best known for co-producing the pre-school shows This is Daniel Cook and This is Emily Yeung with Sinking Ship Productions.
History
Founded in 2001 marblemedia gained notoriety when creating one of the company's first productions, deafplanet.com, "the first television series and Web site in American Sign Language". The company was founded by Ryerson University graduates Mark Bishop and Matt Hornburg who are still the executive producers/partners of the company. The company went on to co-produce This is Daniel Cook with Sinking Ship Entertainment. The popularity of the series created a spin off called This is Emily Yeung. Recent projects include: Taste Buds, The Adrenaline Project and The Dating Guy.
Recent activity
On January 24, 2009 it was announced that marblemedia will be making a season 2 of Taste Buds, a kids cooking show and website.
On September 18, 2008, marblemedia announced the winners of their show The Adrenaline Project would get a trip to Disney World.
