Manouchehr Azari

Manouchehr Azari (born July 29, 1931, Tehran, Manouchehr Azari's parents: father from Urmia and mother from Isfahan) is an Iranian actor and radio announcer who studied at the School of Dramatic Arts, acting and directing. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1966. He studied with Mehdi Forough and Parviz Tayeedi for some time. His first program with Hassan Khayatbashi was on the radio in 1975. After the revolution, he continued his activities and gained a lot of fame and popularity with you through the very popular program on Friday morning. Manouchehr Azari together with Farhang Mehrparvar formed one of the most successful artistic couples in the field of radio comedy. Manouchehr Azari is sometimes confused because of the similarity of his name with Manouchehr Nozari. He is also from the Jewish minority of Iran and has done many cultural activities for the Jewish community. His religion is Jewish and he has four children, three of whom are doctors and translators. He was the guest of Mehran Modiri in the Durahmi program on the 3rd of October, 1995.
