Manila Headline
The Manila Headline is a biweekly Filipino-American newspaper based in Houston, Texas. It is the only Filipino Newspaper distributed in Texas, and circulation in the Houston area is 10,000 copies.
The paper is published by Manila Headline, Inc. Manila Headline was established 17 years ago by Owner and Publisher Ric Ilanga. The Assistant Publisher, graphic designer is Eric Ilanga, and the Journalist Jimmy Viray.
The paper carries news updates and advisories on significant developments in the United States, the Philippines, and other Asian countries. It also covers local news and features of social, political and business activities of the Filipino American community in Houston and neighboring cities.
It is distributed for free in major oriental groceries & supermarkets, restaurants, clubs, video stores, bake shops, and the Filipino-American community associations and businesses. It is possible to subscribe to The Newspaper from anywhere in the country, and the paper is circulated in major cities of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
