Magic Moments of Poker
Magic Moments of Poker (MMOP) is a poker tournament series which has run since the beginning of 2009. Qualification for the series takes place via online poker at the online gaming website bwin. Seven players make it through each of the online qualification rounds and then travel to one of a total of seven sporting events to play poker for their place at the final. The main prize at the final is membership of the bwin Poker team.

Tournament structure
Users can qualify for Magic Moments of Poker in online poker tournaments via the online gaming website bwin. Qualification is also possible via a number of partner websites.
A maximum of seven players can qualify for each of the MMOP sports events. The all-important poker tournament then takes place in front of the cameras at the televised poker table. The winner of this tournament wins a place at the Magic Moments of Poker grand final.
First prize
First prize is membership of the professional poker team at bwin (bwin Poker team). This membership is worth a total of $100,000 and includes tournament packages for the most significant international poker tournaments (e.g. World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour). The winner therefore becomes a professional poker player for the year and is able to take part in these renowned tournaments. In contrast to sponsoring contracts offered by other poker providers, players who win money in these tournaments do not have to pay back a share of their winnings.

Magic Moments of Poker TV show
A television show is recorded at each one of the stops on the Magic Moments of Poker tour, which is then broadcast around the world. The show includes recordings of the players at each of the seven MMOP events as well as recordings from the TV studio. This aspect of the poker tournament concept is of particular importance as the opportunity to play poker in front of television cameras is incredibly tempting for many poker players.

Experience Package
The most significant aim of Magic Moments of Poker is to bring together poker and sporting events. The players win a weekend packed full of exclusive experiences (such as VIP tickets, the opportunity to meet the stars, etc.) and round-the-clock support. This differentiates this tournament series from other online and offline poker tournaments, as the MMOP series offers an Experience Package instead of a direct cash payment.
Poker game in front of television cameras
Another attractive aspect of this series is that the poker players are given the chance to become the star of their own poker show. All of the players’ action is recorded using Hole Card cameras which are built into the tables and are visible to the show’s audience. It is therefore possible to follow the action as closely as possible and see every move the players make.
Poker pro
First prize of the series, bwin Poker team membership, gives the winner the opportunity to take part in major poker tournaments for an entire year. These tournaments all have very high participation feeds. A sponsoring agreement is widely preferred by poker players, as this sponsoring agreement does not require the player to give bwin any share of their potential winnings. Many poker providers target specific users for a contract. Magic Moments of Poker, however, offers all players at the platform the opportunity to play in the professional poker team.
