==Title history==
M1W’s first Heavyweight Champion was crowned in a [[Battle Royal (professional wrestling)|Battle Royal]] on February 21, 2009. Seven entrants were determined by a series of qualifier matches that took place on January 31, 2009 in [[Santa Ana, California]]. 3 more wrestlers were entered into the Battle Royal in a 6-Man second chance match on February 21 immediately followed by a last chance 3-Way between members of the losing team of the 6-Man match.
