Luigi Gaspari

Luigi Gaspari (1929 - 1995) was an Italian mystic writer.

Gaspari prophesied a future canonization of Czar Nicholas II . The czar was later canonized August 20, 2000 in Moscow with an official ceremony at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

During a conference held in a small town in the south of Italy, he forecasted a future religious war against Christianity.

From 1968 to 1995, Luigi Gaspari travelled over much to Italy and Europe and held more than 156 conferences in Austria, Russia, France, and Belgium.

Religious Views and Writings

Gaspari wrote the Book of Love. He left more than a thousand writings unpublished .

He recommended reconciliation with the Orthodox and Protestant churches and promoted a "love of God" philosophy while vigorously struggling against what he saw as the errors diffused by the 2nd Vatican Concilium.

Criticism

Gaspari's opponents consider him to be a founder of a marginal Catholic group. He was accused by the Catholic church of diffusing theological errors and personal Bible interpretations . A conference scheduled in a major basilicas in the capital and initially approved by the Vatican was later prohibited by them for unspecified reasons, possibly as a result of these disagreements.
