Liz George

Liz George (born 1967) has worked for CNN as a news correspondent and programme anchor, since 2001. She also presented a sailing programme for CNN. Previously she worked as a producer/reporter for the BBC. She is the daughter of Eddie George, the retired Governor of the Bank of England.

In 2005 she left CNN to work in Russia setting up a new 24 hour news channel, called Russia Today TV.

Liz George has returned to the UK and is freelancing.
