With the installation of Zeta chapter at Northeastern State College in Oklahoma, The Fraternity had met the Constitutional requirement to have 5 chapters before hosting the first national meeting. Founder Emmett Ellis was elected the first Grand President. The First National Conclave convened and adjourned on the same day. |

Delegates created a central office and the position of Executive Secretary to coordinate expansion and record keeping. Thomas M. Hutsell of the Beta Chapter (Northeast Missouri State Teachers College) was elected the first Executive Secretary and setup the office in his apartment in Kirksville. The name of the magazine was changed to 'The SAGA'. |

The Fourth Conclave saw the introduction of a complete line of badges and insignia. The associate pin was approved. Brother Hutsell presented the chapter efficiency cup, now the Thomas M. Hutsell Chapter Efficiency Award, for the first time. |
