List of Princess Fiona's friends

This is a page of the princess that are friends with Princess Fiona. They play a key role in Shrek the Third.

Snow White

Snow White, in the stories, is a lovely maiden who is tricked into biting into a poisoned apple. The princess falls into a poisoned sleep, but is rescued from her slumber by her seven dwarf friends. Her coffin can be seen in the first Shrek movie as the dwarves set it on Shrek's table, complaining that the Big Bad Wolf has claimed the bed. She was also one of Lord Farquaad's possible choices for his princess, but he ended up picking Fiona. At the end of the movie, she is seen fighting with Cinderella for Fiona's bridal bouquet before it is caught by Dragon.

Snow is a childhood friend of Princess Fiona. She is shown as sarcastic and negative at times, but loyal and smart. She can control animals with her singing (a parody of Disney's Snow White, even singing one of her Disney counterpart's songs), and even make them attack with a war cry ("Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin). It is mentioned in the film that she rigged the election to name her fairest in the land. Her dwarf friends are used as servants in her home. She gives one as a present to Fiona, as a babysitter. She has the name Dopey tattooed on her right arm.

She is voiced by Saturday Night Live cast member Amy Poehler.

Sleeping Beauty

In the fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty was a princess who was cursed on her christening day by a witch who was not invited to the ceremony. As a young woman, she pricked her finger on a spinning wheel spindle and fell into an enchanted sleep, from which she could only be awakened by the kiss of her true love. In the Shrek universe, Sleeping Beauty (just Beauty to her friends) suffers from narcolepsy and falls asleep at inconvenient times. She is first mentioned in Shrek 2 when Shrek reads Fiona's childhood diary; Fiona laments not being allowed to attend her slumber party. Later, she arrives at the ball to celebrate Shrek and Fiona's marriage, tumbling unconscious from her limousine. In Shrek the Third she attends the baby shower for Fiona, and is locked in the tower when Charming attacks. During the rescue mission she puts her situation to use by collapsing at the feet of two guards, causing them to trip. She is voiced by Saturday Night Live cast member Cheri Oteri.

Cinderella

Cinderella was the daughter of a wealthy widower who remarried, taking as his second wife a selfish woman with daughters of her own. After her father dies (or leaves, in some versions), Cinderella is abused and ultimately forced to become a servant in her own home. When a royal ball is held to find a wife for the crown prince of the kingdom, her fairy godmother helps her attend the party in disguise, on the condition that she be home by midnight. She and the prince fall in love, but when her curfew strikes she flees, leaving behind one of her glass slippers; the shoe enables the prince to find his love and they wed.

Although not a princess by birth, Cinderella is first seen in Shrek as one of Lord Farquaad's possible princess brides; later she fights with Snow White for the bouquet at Shrek and Fiona's wedding. In Shrek the Third, her friends call her Cindy and she is obsessed with cleanliness. She is very optimistic, and is constantly dusting and scrubbing. She scrubs floors incessantly and talks to her reflection. During the she defeats two guards by throwing her glass slipper at them. She is voiced by Amy Sedaris.

Rapunzel

Rapunzel's first appearance is an implied one in Shrek 2. When Shrek, Fiona and Donkey are driving up the long road leading to the castle in Far Far Away, hers is one of the smaller castles they pass -- look for the gates with hair draped on them. Rapunzel is an old friend of Fiona's, though not an especially good one. She bickers with the others and makes snide comments AbOUT Fiona's marriage needing work. When the villains raid the castle during Fiona's baby shower, she escapes through the underground tunnel with the other shower guests, but leads the women into a trap set by Prince Charming; he has promised to marry her and make her the queen of Far Far Away, however, she says she doesn't want Charming to hurt the other women. Later, Rapunzel participates in the play designed to give Charming the theatrical chance to kill Shrek, and sings a solo in a fake tower. When the heroes interrupt the performance, Gingy (the Gingerbread Man) uses Rapunzel's braid as a rope to climb down to the stage; he accidentally pulls the entire thing off, revealing that she is bald and all of that hair is nothing but a massive wig. She flees the kingdom in humiliation. It is rumored that Rapunzel will be the main villain for the fourth Shrek movie, as she wants revenge on Shrek and Fiona and the fairy tales for humilitating her. She is voiced by Maya Rudolph.
