Zimbabwe played its first Test match in October 1992 against India in Harare, becoming the ninth Test-playing nation. With ups and downs, Zimbabwe currently consider as an underdog. The limelight of Zimbabwean cricket history came under players like Andy Flower, Grant Flower, Tatenda Taibu, Heath Streak, Raymond Price, Brendan Taylor, Hamilton Masakadza and Elton Chigumbura.
There are few cricket grounds in Zimbabwe, mainly due to less international matches playing in the country. These pitches are renowned for slow bouncy tracks. Harare Sports Club in Harare is the most famous of all Zimbabwe grounds, where it held many big events of cricket.
