Yamazaki, Seitaro
Elder of the Yamazaki twin brothers. During the Kami War, the Yamazaki Brothers fought on the side of Konda, but realizing that Konda cared nothing for the mountain villages, they both deserted and joined Godo's barbarian-ronin force. However, Godo neglected the people, focused as he was with his own rivalry to Konda. The Brothers left his army and vowed to defend their homeland by themselves. On their return to their village they encountered their father's magic avatar (in fact the guardian of their village) and, taking him for a rogue kami, they destroyed it. Faced with the sorrow of this act, they took their father's place as guardians, successfully defeating any kami who threatened the village. Later, as Kami War reached its climax, the Brothers Yamazaki were in control of a massive horde of AKKI goblins and encountered Toshiro Umezawa and Nagao. The horde was on its way to Eiganjo, apparently to lay siege to the castle. Both survived the kami war, but for unknown reasons never ever spoke to one another again. (Card: ) (Kamigawa)
Yamazaki Shujiro
Younger of the Yamazaki twin brothers. See also Yamazaki Seitaro. Shujiro was gravely wounded by Sharp-Ear during a battle to save a Kitsune village from the Brothers' goblin horde, but the foxfolk failed to stop their advance. The brothers decided to move on to Eiganjo, leaving a significant part of their army to wipe out the village. Later they laid siege to Eiganjo, but were halted by Konda's remaining soldiers and the spirit dragon Yosei.
