Dakkon Blackblade

A powerful warrior and weaponsmith from Legends. Has the planeswalker spark, but it cannot ignite thanks to Geyadrone Dihada. Forefather of the Carthalions (Comics). The planeswalker Geyadrone Dihada requested that he forge her a powerful sword. With this she stabbed his shadow and left him, a cross between living and dead, his soul bound to an amulet held by his friend Carth. He wandered Dominaria for many years until he met Dihada and challenged her. Victorious, she returned his shadow. He is still believed to wander Dominaria with his only friend Carth. The Future Sight expansion hints that ownership of the Blackblade has since passed to an undead warrior named Korlash.

Daria

‘She who comes first’. Adopted daughter of Taysir, resurrected by Ravidel. She may or may not be the same persona as Liana of Minorad. As a planeswalker she was one of ‘Nine Titans’ who fought with Urza against Yawgmoth. Daria met her end against Tevesh Szat, a fellow Titan. (Apocalypse)

Darien Kjeldor

Prince, and later King, of Kjeldor during the Ice Age. Initially seen by his people as a weak and ineffectual ruler who depends far too much on advisors, the treason of the galvanises his rule. He immediately brings the military under his strict control and marches, alongside the Balduvians, against Lim-Dul, who had been manipulating the Cabal. Once Lim-Dul is defeated, Darien helps to unite Kjeldor and Balduvia into one nation, New Argive. He and the Balduvian chieftain, Lovisa Coldeyes, are then content to step back and groom their heirs to eventually take the throne. During Heidar's campaign to reverse the Thaw, Darien successfully steps up his attempts to bring Yavimaya and the Juniper Order into a closer alliance with the nation. (Cards: , , )

Darigaaz the Igniter

Darigaaz is the Primeval dragon of Shiv, symbolizing birth and creation. His subjects are Shivan Dragons. During the Invasion War, Darigaaz, cajoled by Tevesh Szat, traveled across Dominaria, awakening first Rith, then Treva, then Dromar and finally Crosis. He doesn’t realize that each awakening requires a sacrifice. Finally, he kills himself and embraces Crosis, who raises the four other primevals as gods. Darigaaz attacks the Weatherlight but Karn lets him see what he has become - a tyrant. Devastated, he commits [...], weakening the four other dragon gods. (Invasion)

Davvol

First self-appointed Evincar of Rath. Davvol assumed command by manipulating Croag, a Phyrexian Inner Circle member. Croag eventually had his revenge by slaying Davvol. (Urza’s Destiny)

Delphine

Primata Delphine was a female inquisitor of the Church of Tal during the Dark. She formed part of the Order of St. Zil. Delphine led an unsuccessful assault on the Conclave of Mages, which resulted in her death at the hands of Mairsil the Pretender. (Card: )

Traveller of the realms of the Ice Age, wife of Kolbjörn, stepmother of Kaysa. Died of plague twenty years after the end of the Ice Age

Dokai, Weaver of Life

Legendary monk of Kamigawa gifted with the power to animate the land into powerful elementals. (Kamigawa)

Dosan, the Falling Leaf

One of the master monks of the Sacred Bell order. Blessed by the kami with a long life before the kami war, Dosan used that power in an attempt to communicate with the major kami and stop the war. (Kamigawa)

Sage, Founder and leader of the College of Lat-Nam during the Brothers’ war. Husband and former teacher of Hurkyll

Dralnu

Lich Lord living in Urborg. He was one of the undead servants of the Urborg witch, Tojira, who taught him the ways of the necromancer. He killed her and took control of all her other undead creations. Dralnu appeared during the second wave of the Phyrexian Invasion to assist the armies of Generals Agnate and Grizzlegom. The two were suspicious, but Dralnu was also aware of the world's fate and rose to help. Agnate thought that the Lich Lord strikingly resembled his brother Thaddeus. However, Dralnu had his own agenda to follow, and secretly infected Agnate with a necrotic plague, hoping to make a zombie minion of him. Upon discovering this, the two generals ambushed the Lich Lord and carefully destroyed him, hacking him to pieces to prevent his coming back.(Planeshift)

Dralnu was timeshifted to Rift-Era Dominaria during Time Spiral block.

A dowsing shaman of Ravnica. (Cards: , )

Dromar the Banisher

Dromar is the Primeval dragon from Vodalia. Trapped by his own greed, he is the third Primeval released by Darigaaz. (Invasion)

Drulvurg

Troll King of Jamuraa. He commanded a large army of trolls that once conquered all of Aerona. (Card: )

Dyfed

The planeswalker who brought Yawgmoth to Phyrexia. Herself a Thran, from before the setting of the eight city-states, she returned to Dominaria and the city-state of Halcyon after detecting an unignited planeswalker spark, and assumed it was Yawgmoth's (she had actually felt Glacian's, as Yawgmoth did not have a spark). Transplanted some of Halcyon's aristocratic elite to the undeveloped plane of Mercadia. Later, Yawgmoth captured and kept her incapacitated long enough to study her thoroughly, hoping to find the "planeswalker organ." When Rebbec was trying to save Glacian from Phyrexia she encountered Dyfed, comatose and cut open on a table, and kindly put her out of her misery.
