List of Asian and Pacific countries by GDP (nominal)

This is a list of Asian and Pacific countries sorted by their nominal gross Domestic product (GDP), the marketvalue of all final goods and services from a nation in a given year. The GDP dollar estimates presented here are calculated at market or government official exchange rates by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff. This organization only calculates GDPs for its member states, which in 2008 excluded North Korea and the small Pacific nations Palau, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, and Tuvalu.

Despite rapid economic growth between 2005 to 2007 in much of the Asian and Pacific region, the world share only grew from 27.43% to 27.56% due to a sharp rise in European currencies. In 2008 Australasian's share had grown to 29.4%, and to be estimated as 30.0% in 2009.

Asian and Pacific countries are combined in this list because of their interdependence, as stressed by the existence of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
