Lionel D. Carson (c. 1969) is an actor.
Personal
Carson was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the School of Architecture at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He first studied acting at the age of twelve. Carson is the godson of Leothy Miller Owens, the founder of Nkiru Books in Brooklyn, New York. Lionel also played semi-professional football as a wide receiver.
Career
Carson starred in the film Pawn alongside veteran film and television actor William Russ in 2009. Pawn became an official selection the 2009 Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Carson also starred in the independent film In The Dark, winner at WorldFest 2006. Some of Lionel's more notable appearances are On the Television shows The West Wing, Samantha Who, Desperate Housewives, and the soap opera Loving. Carson studied acting with Bernard Rachelle at Lincoln Center in New York as well as Stephanie Feury in Los Angeles.
