Linnda Durré
Linnda Durré is a radio talk show host, licensed psychotherapist, sports performance consultant, writer, business and corporate consultant, journalist, published author, magazine and newspaper columnist, and an award-winning filmmaker.
Radio and television
She currently hosts and produces "The Linnda Durré Show", which debuted September 8, 2009 and is broadcast out of WEUS-AM 810. WEUS is based out of Longwood, Florida. Her show’s website is www.LinndaDurreShow.com.

She has also hosted and co-produced “The Dr. Linnda Durré Show” from the Cox station WDBO in Orlando and “Let’s Talk with Dr. Linnda Durré” based out of an NPR affiliate in New York.
Linnda Durré has also hosted and co-produced two live call-in TV shows, which were “Ask the Family Therapist” which aired on America’s Health Network (AHN), which was associated with Mayo Clinic, aired from Universal Studios Orlando, and where she was selected from 200 applicants in a national search; and “Personal Success Hotline with Dr. Durré,” which aired on a PBS affiliate.
She has been interviewed on “60 Minutes”, “Oprah”, “The Today Show”, “The O’Reilly Factor”, “The Home and Family Show,” “Good Morning America”, and the national and/or local news programs on CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR, PBS, CW, and Fox .
Education and psychotherapy career
Durré has been a licensed psychotherapist since 1978. She earned her B.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College located in Pasadena, California. She went on to earn her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (now Alliant University) in San Diego, California. She maintains a private practice in Winter Park, Florida.
As a sports performance coach and consultant, Durré has worked with amateur, high school, college, professional, and Olympic athletes, including players from the NBA, NHL, NFL, PGA, MLB, swimming, tennis, and other sports, and consults and does training for players and teams .
Teaching
She also was a teacher, was awarded three K-6 teaching credentials (NJ, NY, CA), and has taught in and/or lectured at nursery school all the way to graduate school. She was an adjunct professor of psychology at Rollins College, located in Winter Park, Florida from 1997-2003.
Author
Linnda Durré was a columnist for Orlando Business Journal, A & U Magazine, Orlando Leisure Magazine, and had a newspaper column in New York. She interviewed Beatles producer Sir George Martin for Forbes online and her article and slide show appeared on their home page on January 11, 2008. Her other print interviews include Ed Asner, Diane Ladd, Busta Rhymes, Angels and Airwaves, Joe Pantoliano, Barry Sandler, Ed Donovan, Dale Reynolds, and many others.
She has produced five short films, and was associate producer and creative consultant for former Broadway actress and ordained minister, Gretchen Van Aken’s one-woman musical show, “Called Girl.”
Durre’ was accepted into Edward Albee’s Master Class in Playwrighting, for her original play, “The Viewing,” which she adapted into a short film, and directed and produced it as well. It was an official selection at Del Ray Beach Film Festival, Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival, and it was a finalist in the Best of Florida / Made in Florida Film Festival. It won two Crystal Reel Awards from the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association (FMPTA) – one for Best Short Script for her and one for Best Supporting Actress for Orlando actress, Sarah Benz Phillips.
She sold a TV series to Aaron Spelling when she was only 22, and was reportedly the youngest woman who was admitted to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) at the time. She has written and hosted for The Disney Channel. She was also admitted to AFTRA as an actor/host and to ASCAP as a lyricist. She has worked with various songwriters over the years and has written one of the songs for one of her TV series.
Her first book entitled, "Great Relationships Manual: A Guide To Share Yourself With Your Partner" was published in 2005. Her second book, "Surviving the Toxic Workplace: Protect Yourself Against Coworkers, Bosses, and Work Environments That Poison Your Day", will be published in February 19, 2010 by McGraw Hill.
