Life of Olive

Life of Olive is a realistic fiction book series AbOUT *Olive Ming, a Chinese-American girl with dwarfism. It takes place at the fictional Gemini Academy briefly noted as in New Jersey. The author is *Taylor Craig and based on Craig Mosman Productions.

Characters

Olive Ming: An intelligent child with dwarfism. She is from Dillon, South Carolina. She lives with her dad, 2 older sisters, who are twins Regina and Rebecca, and younger brother Simon. In book 1, she arrives at Gemini Academy to her 4 other roommates, and 5 guy friends.

Princess Xaviers-Gzifa: An African-American child wrestling star. She tries to socialize with Olive, due to the fact that Olive is new and clueless, and might actually believe she is a caring person, or even a person. She is a lot bigger, bulker, taller, and heavier than that of the other students. Her peers see her as a child criminal.

Zoe Thompson: A peppy cheerful girl who is also, like Princess, Olive's roommate. In books 1 and 2, she has brown hair, but for the rest of the series, she has red hair. Zoe has a history of fighting with Princess. She is almost up to Princess's shoulder.

Nicole Kaur: An Indian foreign exchange student. She is quiet, and mature.

Bebe Emerald: A girly-girl who has really long blonde hair.

Pedro Alvarez: A clumsy boy; Princess's crush. It is revealed that he was born in Mexico.

Isaak LeFranco: Pedro's best friend, and self-proclaimed rapper.

Will Power: Zoe's boyfriend. Will is very quiet and barely talks.

Caleb Stephens: A Canadian transfer student, and Nicole's boyfriend. Caleb is very intelligent.

Michael McEko: An athletic, and actually muscly type who ends up dating Olive.

Regina Ming: Twin sister of Rebecca and older sister of Olive and Simon. Regina is oldest by 7 seconds.

Rebecca Ming: Twin sister of Regina and older sister of Olive and Simon.

Simon Ming: Olive and the twins' younger brother. He is a toddler and is notable for the love of biting ankles.

Alan Ming: Olive, Regina, Rebecca, and Simon's father. There is no mother mentioned.

Plot

The first book is when Olive is in 5th grade and arrives at the school.

The second book is when Olive returns as a 6th grader.

The third book is Olive's summer

The fourth book is when Olive goes to 7th grade.

SPINOFF The fifth book is a spinoff called QuinnTelligent about all of the original characters children, mainly Quinn, who has dwarfism, like her mother, Olive, but has the same facial characteristics as her father, Michael. They have two sons, Jackson and Chase, who are older than Quinn.

Zoe and Will have twins, Luke and James, who are Quinn's age.

Pedro and Princess have one child, Sally, who has a very similar appearance to Princesses childhood appearance. Midway through the book, Princess gives birth to Pedro Jr.

Bebe and Isaak have septuplets. Their names are Ally, Amy, Alexis, Andy, Arnold, Aaron, and Alex.

Nicole and Caleb have 4 children, who are all adopted from Nicole's hometown of Mumbai. Lauren, Tommy, Zach, and Neeve.

The spinoff is set to release the holiday season of 2015.
