Leo Club of Metropolitan Hong Kong
Leo Club of Metropolitan Hong Kong was chartered on 19 September 1997. It was founded with dedicated support from the Lions Club of Metropolitan Hong Kong, its sponsoring mother club. To align with the motto of the Lions Club of Metropolitan Hong Kong, the principle objective of the club is to promote volunteerism through education. It also provides a wide spectrum of eye check-up services to orientation programs for new comers from Mainland China.
The club holds regular monthly meetings. Sometimes distinguished guests in different sectors of the community are invited as speakers.
There are also clubs in other Asian countries, including Singapore and Malaysia. Clubs are mostly formed in schools. Leo vests are designed by clubs themselves and distributed to members. Badges are also given occasionally to members who are outstandings in events or Contribute to the club.
