Leah Guy

Leah Guy (Born June 6, 1972) is an American talk show host, best known for her celebrity TV show Who's On Deck. Guy is passionate AbOUT healthy living and her production company A Girl Named Guy Productions focuses on positive inspired content.

Personal life

Guy was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, later moving out of state to attend college. After years of traveling she returned to Kentucky to graduate from The University Of Louisville in 1995 with a degree in Communication. Guy attended Alive & Well Institute of Conscious Bodywork, San Anselmo, CA for a CMT certification in 1996. 1997 took her to The School of Enlightenment and Healing. After her education she began combining her interest of Media and Television with her passion for integrative wellness. Currently she resides in the NYC metro area.

Career

In the late nineties she began her media career as an on air personality and producer in training in Nashville and Los Angeles. After joining Screen Actors Guild in 2001 and continue training at Tepper Gallegos and the Ground Lings in Los Angeles she moved to New York City to start her own production company A Girl Named Guy Productions. As a TV host producer she specializes in celebrity, lifestyle and health and wellness. Since 2004, Leah has been producing and writing lifestyle content for the media, corporate clients and publications.

Production Company

In 2006 Guy launched her own production company A Girl Named Guy Productions. The multi media company produces videos, books, websites and events for consumers, as well as publications, content, editing services and video production to corporations and/or small business developers in the health industry .

A Girl Named guy Productions created a new type of talk show Who's On Deck that was picked up this year by RCN for a second season. Shot on host Leah Guy's deck, overlooking all of NYC. The premise is simple - she invites some of her favorite celebs over, they sit and shoot the sh*t. You might witness a cooking demo, a dance on the deck, spa treatments, rock stars and more. Lifestyle segments round out the 30 min. tv series, with web clips to highlight .
