LeafFilter North Inc

LeafFilter North, Inc. is an American home improvement company that installs and services rain gutter guards on homes. The privately owned company is based in Hudson, Ohio and was founded in 2005 by Matt Kaulig, a former University of Akron quarterback. The gutter protection system consists of a rain gutter guard covering made of a stainless steel filter and vinyl base.

Overview

The company was named to the Qualified Remodeler Magazine Top 500 list in July 2012 and ranked No.27. In August 2012, LeafFilter was ranked on Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc.5000 list and finished No.840 overall. The company finished No.29 within the construction category and No.2 among Ohio construction companies. In late 2012, LeafFilter ranked on the Weatherhead 100 list. The Weatherhead 100 Award is presented and sponsored by the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management and Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) in Cleveland, Ohio. LeafFilter ranked No.4 on the list. LeafFilter was named to Inc. Magazine’s Hire Power Awards in December of 2012 and ranked No.7 in the construction category. The November 2013 issue of Inc. magazine named LeafFilter to the 2nd annual Inc. Hire Power Awards, placing LeafFilter among the Top 10 private business job creators in the U.S. within the Construction Category. In December of 2013, the company was named to Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management Weatherhead 100 for the second consecutive year. LeafFilter ranked No.8 on the 2013 Weatherhead 100. In August of 2014, LeafFilter was ranked on Inc. magazine annual Inc. 5000 list for the third consecutive year. LeafFilter was ranked No. 14 on the Qualified Remodeler Top 500 list in August 2014. LeafFilter was placed No. 7 on the Remodeler 550 for the first time.
