Leading the Way
Leading the Way is the international Christian media ministry of Dr. Michael Youssef. Founded in 1988 as a local radio program for Atlanta, Georgia, Leading The Way is now broadcast via radio and television in more than 100 countries.
The signature dual-language radio broadcasts originated in 1996 with an English-Arabic program for the Middle East and North Africa. This format features Dr. Youssef's English teaching and a phrase-by-phrase translation into the listener's native language. The broadcast appeals both to those interested in learning AbOUT Jesus and to those who wish to gain a mastery of the English language.
The dual-language format is now produced in 18 different languages around the world, including Arabic, Mandarin, Indonesian, Turkish, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, French, Hindi, Bengali, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Amharic, Tamil, Albanian, and Thai. Through these programs, our goal is to give 3.9 billion people the opportunity to hear the Gospel in their own language. To that end, between now and 2009, plans are underway for two additional broadcasts in the languages of Portuguese and Japanese.
Leading The Way also produces a variety of resources â including books and audio and DVD series â designed to help you grow in your faith and to equip you for ministry.
Leading The Way now offers a monthly publication called My Journal. Containing news about our growth, devotional content, and great testimonies from around the globe, My Journal is designed to connect you with Leading The Way by providing updates, programming information, and great teaching.
