Le Neon

Le Neon were a four piece indie rock band formed in Stroud in 2000. The band signed to Fierce Panda records in 2003, releasing the album 'Luss' and the double a-side vinyl single 'Space/Brittania'.

Le Neon as described by Glasswerk London in 2004; "A cacophony of dirty guitar noise is complimented by absorbing guitar riffs that lay down the foundations for Le Neon’s distinctively abrasive sound. Think earlyIdlewild and you’re still not really there."

The band toured the UK in 2003 and 2004 and played with bands such as Biffy Clyro, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster,The Subways, The Raveonettes, The Cribs, Seafood, and Winnebago Deal.

The late and great John Peel played the album track 'The Sender' on his late night show, a few months before his death.
