Latova
Latova is a highly scalable, powerful, standards compliant, cross platform, and reliable community content management suite created by Mike Lat that had been under development for over two years before its public release. Latova is open source software, as to encourage learning and help with the ProgresS of the software.
History
Latova was publicly released on October 10, 2007 after 2 years of development. Two updates quickly followed the initial release, with Latova 0.1.2 Alpha as the latest release of the software.
Version 0.1.0
Version 0.1.0 was the first public release of Latova. Latova had trouble with transparent PNG signature and posts ignored height restrictions for IE6. The IE6 version was considered "the downgraded version" of Latova during the release. Latova also had minor display issues while on Safari. The initial release also lacked an Administration Control Panel, Search Capabilities, an Installer, and Member Email Capabilities.
Version 0.1.1
Version 0.1.1 was the the first update for the Latova software released on October 11,2007. It included fixes for several problems that had come with the initial release. The BBCode were also ReWorked along with other miscellaneous things.
Version 0.1.2
Version 0.1.2 is the most current update of Latova, which was released on November 12, 2007. The BBtags were reworked again, to make it more flexible and bug-free. Along with fixing forum category links, several more fixes were included from problems with the 0.1.1 release.
