La Tracalera" in English The Party Girl was released as a promotional single for the band Selena y Los Dinos in 1984. "La Tracalera" was created by Johnny Herrera who was a close friend with Selena's father Abraham Quintanilla Jr,. La Tracalera was sung by artists after Selena sung the song and made it big.

• Chavez, Anselmo Sanchez (1996): Recorded his version of the song due to Selena's death that occurred on March 31, 1995. Chavez recorded "La Tracalera" as a "male version" since the song was AbOUT a "party girl" in his album 15 Hits in 1996. Again in 2004 he re-released the song in his album Mas 30 Albums de Coleccion.
