Kyle Rogers

John Kyle Rogers (b. April 14, 1990) is an American journalist, most commonly credited as Kyle Rogers.

Career

Rogers began his television career by reporting for the nationally syndicated television program Eyewitness Kids News now known as Teen Kids News in 2003.

In early 2004, Rogers worked as a photographer/narrator on the "Our Town: Chambersburg" on WITF-TV.

In June 2004, Rogers joined the Public Opinion Newspaper in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania as an intern and quickly escaladed into a freelance position at age 15. Since 2006, Rogers has written a blog for young people on The Newspaper's website titled "Generation Now".

Since 2006, Rogers has been a regular guest on the WPVI-TV's "Youth Perspective", a youth-forum television show in Philadelphia.

In 2007, Rogers joined Teen Kids News as a reporter based in the Philadelphia area as well as the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. He is one of a Small number of correspondents not based in New York City. So far, he's interviewed The JOnAS Brothers. Rogers works with WPVI-TV in Philadelphia for production of segments for Teen Kids News. WPVI-TV airs the program on Saturday mornings.

In November 2007, Rogers appeared on WITF-TV's SmartTalk, a live public affairs television forum where he discussed underage drinking with a panel.

Personal

Rogers resides in Franklin County, Pennsylvania with his parents and two younger sisters. He currently attends Chambersburg Area Senior High School and plans to attend college to major in broadcast journalism.
