Kukuiaimakalani
Kukuiaimakalani was Princess of Oahu or High Chiefess. She sometimes referred to as Kukuimakalani.
She was born the daughter of Kualii, King of Oahu and Kauai ; and to Kalanikahimakaialii. Her mother was a Pio chiefess being the daughter of Kaulahea II, King of Maui and his sister bride Kalaniomaiheuila, Princess of Maui. Her brothers were Kapiohookalani and Peleioholani, and her sister were Kaionuilanilalahai and Lonokahikini.
She married her brother Peleioholani, who later became the king of Oahu and Kauai. She had a daughter with him and this little girl, Kalanipoo-a-Peleioholani, was therefore a sacred Pio child in the Hawaiian system of heraldty. Her daughter married Kaiakea, a Molokai chief and their son's Kekuelikenui was the grandfather of Abraham Fornander's wife. Other of Kukuiaimakalani's grandchildren were Kaakaupalalaka, born AbOUT 1787 in Honolulu, Hawaii; Kuluehu, born about 1781 in Honolulu, Hawaii; and Kolikoli, born about 1779. Her descendants are among the last of the Kualiis.
