Korean U-18 Challenge League

Korean U-18 Challenge League (hangul: 한국 U-18 챌린지 리그) is the comptetion for the U-18 team of South Korea professional football clubs. It has started since 2008. The 8 clubs would divide into two group and they do the play-off to make the champion. The first Champion of the competition is Hyundai High School (Ulsan Hyundai U-18). This competition is sponsored by Seoul Broadcasting System. Since 2009, Jeonbuk Hyundai, Daejeon Citizen, Daegu FC, Gyeongnam FC, and Gwangju Sangmu also have started to attend this competition.

From 2009, U-18 Challenge League is one of the Korean Youth Championship's thirteen section of under 18 years competition.

League system

Regular season where teams play each other home and away for a total of 12 matches. Upon completion of the regular season, the top two of the two group enter the championship playoff until the eventual championship final involving the prevailing side taking on the first placed team in a home and away series.
