Knark
Knark is a rootkit for the Linux kernels 2.2 and 2.4. It is a Loadable Kernel Module that uses system call redirection to hide its presence as well as Providing other functions, like typing 'rootme /bin/sh' to get a root shell.
Knark is named after a Swedish and Norwegian slang term for "illegal drugs" or "narcotics".
In programming, 'knark' is sometimes used as a metasyntactic variable, like foo or bar.
