Kiss Me (Tha' Rayne song)

"Kiss Me" is an R&B song produced by Kay Gee from Naughty By Nature. It was recorded by Tha' Rayne in 2002 as a duet, comprising Yummy Bingham and Quana. It features rapper Lupe Fiasco who was then signed to Arista and was a very good friend to Tha' Rayne member Yummy Bingham. This is the very first national record featuring Lupe Fiasco.

The song was meant to be featured on the soundtrack for The Master of Disguise movie but the track was taken off of the tracklisting just before its release in July 2002. Still, it appears on the tracklisting of the soundtrack at different online music stores.

The song was then released as a teaser promotional single on December 9, 2002. It was edited as a limited white label single and was pressed under the name The Rayne. It turned into a moderate club banger.

A year later, in December 2003, the song was expected to be Tha' Rayne's official second radio single, and was starting to receive airplays, but Arista folded in January 2004 and Tha' Rayne project was cancelled.

The song, written by KayGee, Eddie Berkeley and Nastacia Kendall contains replayed elements from “Adventures In The Land Of Music” by Dynasty.
