Kildar
Kildar is a military fiction thriller novel by the author John Ringo. It is a sequel to his earlier book Ghost - the first in the Paladin of Shadows series - AbOUT the adventures of an Ex-US Navy SEAL as he engages in combat with various [...] groups. This novel covers Mike Harmon (A.K.A. Mike Jenkins, Ghost, Winterborn or '[...]-Boy Two') and his arrival in a remote area of the country of Georgia where he discovers a group of peasants who May Be related to an ancient group of Viking warriors, the Varangians. Mike buys the local castle and, as such, becomes known by The Ancient title of Kildar, lord of the local families.
The Keldara, for whom Mike is the Kildar are used by the US to do violent things that can be disavowed by the US government. In return the Keldara get large amounts of money.
There is also an interesting psycho [...] aspect as Mike Harmon is a serious "top" in S&M but GeneRally will not force women. However, forturnately, he seems to find no lack of willing "subs".
The fourth, Unto the Breach deals with biowar rated smallpox being taken from a Russian biowar facility. Al Quaida is behind this and Mike and his Keldara are involved in trying to recover and destroy the smallpox.
One other book has been written and released titled A deeper blue, and deals with [...] in the Bahamas and concludes in bio-[...] in central Florida.
