Khrystyna Khranovska
Khrystyna Khranovska is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and founder of the Hrystia Hranovska Foundation, a family initiative that supports cultural and educational projects in Ukraine. She also owns Сhloé representative store in Ukraine (founded in 2015) and the children’s clothing brand Bonpoint (founded in 2009).
Biography
Khranovska has over 20 years of experience in social entrepreneurship and philanthropy. She is a graduate of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School and a member of The Aspen Institute community. Throughout her career, she has focused on supporting civil society, cultural heritage, and education in Ukraine.
Since 2006, Khranovska and her family have hosted the annual "Ukrainian Christmas" celebration at their home. The event has become a long-standing tradition and is attended by close friends and business partners.
In March 2019, Khranovska she became the initiator and patron of the Chloe Couture exhibition at the National Art Museum of Ukraine.
In 2023, she initiated the international humanitarian and cultural project War Diaries: Unheard Voices of Ukrainian Children, shares the personal wartime experiences of Ukrainian children affected by the Russian invasion. The project includes diary entries, drawings, letters, videos, and personal belongings of 14 children from various regions of Ukraine. It has been exhibited in major venues, including the Anne Frank Museum and City Hall in Amsterdam, the National Military Museum of the Netherlands, the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York, and venues in Washington, D.C.
Excerpts from War Diaries have been read by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at international events and by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at the United Nations.
In February 2025, on the third anniversary of the war, the "War Diaries: Unheard Voices of Ukrainian Children" documentary exhibit opened at London's Chatham House. The event, initiated by Khrystyna Khranovska, featured notable guests like Ambassador Valerii Zaluzhnyi, human rights advocate Oleksandra Matviichuk, paramedic and former POW Yuliia Paievska (Taira), and actor Jack Gleeson. Other attendees included Chatham House expert Orysia Lutsevych, Emmy-nominated journalist Shahida Tulaganova, and Stephen Hoffman from "UK Friends of Ukraine."
In the 2024, Khranovska established the Hrystia Hranovska Foundation, which aims to preserve Ukrainian culture and invest in innovative educational initiatives.
In 2025, Khranovska launched SKARB ("Treasure"), an interactive educational platform focused on Ukrainian history for school-aged children. Developed in collaboration with Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science, the platform incorporates storytelling, gamification, and emotional engagement to foster a deeper understanding of national history.
On June 2–3, 2025, the exhibition “War Diaries: Unheard Voices of Ukrainian Children” was presented in Lillehammer, Norway. It was held as part of the World Expression Forum (WEXFO), dedicated to the theme of freedom of expression. The exhibition served as a platform to convey the truth about Russia’s war against Ukraine through the voices of children. Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksii Havrysh attended the opening.
