Kenshoo is an Israel based online advertising company used by brands and agencies to handle more than $350 billion in annualized client sales revenue from ad spending across the web and mobile devices.
History
Kenshoo was founded in 2006 by Yoav Izhar-Prato, Alon Sheafer and Nir Cohen. All three founders are still with the company with Izhar-Prato as CEO and Chairman, Sheafer as CSO, and Cohen as Chief Technology Officer. The company is headquartered at Tel Aviv with 27 locations.
In 2006, Kenshoo made its debut as a search-engine marketing automator and became commercially available in Israel and North America. The company raised their first round of capital in 2007 and until 2015, it has raised a total of $42 million at $400 million valuation from Bain Capital Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Arts Alliance and Tenaya Capital.
Kenshoo acquired Adquant, an official Facebook PMD to focus on mobile applications and game developers.
