Kelvin Declined
Kelvin Declined is an alternative rock band hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. The band formed in 2000 and after creating waves on the local music scene were signed to indie label Rhythm Records with whom they recorded their self titled debut album. The album received rave reviews and sprouted 6 radio singles most of which ended up in the local charts.
Since then the band has played every major festival in the country and their music videos have been aired all around the world including on MTV.
In 2008 the band won Best Alternative/Rock song at the Namibian Music Awards for their song “Step Up” featuring Kwaito Artist “Ees”
Releases
Kelvin Declined released their full length debut album under Rhythm Records in 2000. The album was re-released with Legend Music in 2002. They released the single Pillface in 2002 with Legend Music. In 2007 they independently released the E.P. Step UP.
