Keith E. Mann
Keith E. Mann is a Boulder, Colorado, USA, based director, producer and writer for film productions. Mann graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1982 with a major in Film and the University of Colorado in 1993, having majored in Communications.1
Mr. Mann produced and directed the 1998 feature film comedy Boulderdaze, produced in Boulder, Colorado and distributed by Blockbuster Video.
He is a considered a pioneer in Internet entertainment video for his nationally syndicated video series Net Time Theater carried in the on-line versions of major metro newspapers from 2000 to 2002.
Mr. Mann produced, directed, and wrote Evolution - Why Bother? (2006), an award winning, highly reviewed educational program exploring evolution in our daily lives. It is being used in dozens of universities and hundreds of high schools and middle schools as core curriculum. This program is a recommended purchase by the School Library Journal. This program is co-produced and endorsed by the American Institute of Biological Science (AIBS) and the National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT.) He also produced, directed, and wrote Geology - Why Bother? (2005), an award winning, highly reviewed program exploring geology in our daily lives. It is endorsed by the National Association of Geology Teachers (NAGT) and carried by the Geological Society of America and other geo-science organizations.
In 2004 Mr. Mann produced the pilot issue of Fast Action Videos, a collection of short action and horror videos produced by regional film groups.
Mr. Mann specializes in small crew, location based, narrative film production.
