Karla Carrillo

Karla María Carrillo González (born January 24, 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco) was crowned Nuestra Belleza Mexico on September 20, 2008 in Monterrey, Nuevo León.

Biography

Representing her native state of Jalisco, Karla Carrillo competed in the national beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2008, where she obtained first place among thirty-two other contestants, thus making her the first Jaliscan to win the national title since Jacqueline Bracamontes in 2000. She was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza Mexico titleholder Elisa Nájera of Guanajuato. Carrillo is expected to represent her country in the upcoming international Miss Universe 2009 pageant. Currently she is going through and arduous preparation for the Miss Universe contest in Mexico City along with also title holder for Nuestra Belleza Mexico Mundo Perla Beltran. In the Nuestra Belleza Mexico official website, the title holders recently sent out a message for all their followers telling them to stay tune because they are going to be posting videos of their preparation.
