Kaplan SelfTest
Kaplan SelfTest, formerly known as SelfTest Software, is a provider of test preparation (“test prep”) solutions designed to help IT professionals refine their skills and prepare for industry certification exams. Since its inception, SelfTest has increased its line of products to include Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Lotus, CompTIA, Sun, PMI (Project Management Institute), IBM and (ISC)2 technologies. While Kaplan SelfTest caters largely to IT professionals seeking a self-study certification preparation option, the company’s solutions are also utilized by IT training centers, college and university students, and corporate organizations.
Recognized as the first company in the industry to develop IT test prep products, Kaplan SelfTest launched its first offering in 1992: the “Big Red Self Test” for the Novell NetWare certification. The company now offers over 140 vendor-authorized certification practice tests to its customers, with a database of over 55,000 questions. Kaplan SelfTest is also an approved Microsoft Certified Practice Test Provider (PTP), which means that its certification preparation products are subject to quality assurance reviews by Microsoft.
Products
