Kanrocksas Music Festival
Kanrocksas is a music festival scheduled to take place between August 5–6, 2011 outside the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The festival is expected to be an annual event in the likes of other Midwestern music festivals such Lollapalooza and the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival. Its inaugural event will take place at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas and will feature nationally-acclaimed musicians and bands. The two-day event will feature free camping, free parking, and no service fees for concert-goers. Two-day tickets to the festival run at $179 and single-day tickets will go on sale at a later date.
