Kalypso LP

Kalypso LP is a privately owned management consulting firm headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio. The firm offers services in the areas of innovation, new product development, and product lifecycle management (PLM) in industry sectors including consumer goods, retail, food and beverage, high technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, medical device, life sciences, chemicals, energy, automotive, and aerospace and defense.

History

The firm was founded in 2004 by George Young and Bill Poston as Kalypso LLC. In 2006, Kalypso became Kalypso LP.

In 2004, Kalypso opened an office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which serves as its European headquarters.

In 2009, Kalypso launched PLM Vivo, a rapid implementation methodology for Oracle’s Agile PLM for Process Solution. Kalypso was the winner of the 2009 Oracle PartnerNetwork Global Award for Applications Partner of the Year and the 2009 North American Titan Award for Specialty Applications Solution.

In 2010, Kalypso and Samsung SDS formed a strategic alliance to provide consulting services for business strategy, process innovation, PLM, and system implementation and operation.
