'''JXMSRI [[UAV]]''' is a [[micro air vehicle]] (MAV) developed by [[Jiangxi]] [http://www.weather.org.cn/jx_units/qks/prod06.htm Provincial Meteorological Science Research Institute (JXMSRI, 江西省气象科学研究所)] for weather reconnaissance mission, and it has entered service with [[People's Liberation Army]] [[Nanjing Military Region]]. JXMSRI MAV is capable of both remotely piloted and autonomous flight, and carries numerous scientific instruments including fully digitized [[radiosonde]] and other equipment needed for weather reconnaissance mission. The onboard [[GPS]] navigation system also feeds to onboard scientific rearch equipment. The UAV has a conventional layout with [[twin tail|twin-tail]] configuration.
