Jules Munro
Jules Munro was a fictional character in the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away, played by Joel Phillips.
Jules was introduced as an old school friend of Drew Curtis (Bobby Morley). After arriving in Summer Bay, it was discovered that the motorbike Jules was in possession of was actually stolen from a student at his previous boarding school. Drew was concerned AbOUT his friend Jules' strange behaviour and demanded Jules told him what was going on. It was revealed that his girlfriend Linda had drowned after their boat capsized at Elliot's Beach. Jules blamed himself for the accident as he had not saved her.
Jules began to settle into Summer Bay and formed an off-again on-again relationship with Cassie Turner. In an act of jealously, he stole Alex Poulos' motorbike and crashed it. After this Dan and Leah decided that Jules must move home and live with his parents. It was thought that Jules had returned to his parents' home but he was later discovered to be living in Amanda Baker's old mansion, which was currently vacant. He then moved to living in a caravan in the caravan park.
The arrival of Drew's mother Jacinta "Jazz" Curtis created trouble for Jules as she threatened to reveal a secret between her and Jules unless he left Summer Bay. Jules initially refused to leave, claiming that he would not influence Jazz's relationship with her son Drew. Instead of accepting Jules' offer, Jazz told Cassie what had happened between her and Jules and untruthfully told her that Jules had been trying to come onto her since she arrived in Summer Bay. Cassie got very upset and told Drew what Jazz had said which in turn, made him become very angry at Jules. As Drew and Cassie were both angry with him, Jules saw nothing left in the bay for him and decided to leave.
