JugglingLife
Juggling Life is a non-profit organization based in Dunellen, N.J. The organization’s purpose is to inspire and emotionally heal disadvantaged children through juggling. Volunteers representing JugglingLife travel to children’s camps where they teach juggling and other healing arts. Juggling Life’s events include volunteer jugglers, singers, and dancers who perform for disadvantaged children through specially designed programs.
History
School teacher Louis De Lauro began volunteering at camps for ill children in New Jersey and Pennsylvania during the 1990s. Louis and his juggling team conducted workshops and shows for more than a decade. The program expanded in 2004 changing its name to Juggling Life, from New Jersey is Beautiful. In 2006, Ben Saltzman created a documentary based on JugglingLife and its accomplishments. In 2008, JugglingLife became a member of Blossom International’s not-for-profit program. By 2010, Juggling Life gained attention through Saltzman’s documentary and Blossom International’s online presence. In 2010, JugglingLife appeared on a Good Morning America segment which led to more support, funding and opportunities.

Louis De Lauro
Louis De Lauro is the president and founder of Juggling Life. Louis has been teaching 5th and 6th grade classes for 19 years. He has volunteered at camps for children with cancer for nearly 20 years, teaching juggling and chess. During his tenure in Dunellen, Louis coached 4 chess teams to state championships. Lou won several teaching awards and honors during his tenure in Dunellen
Jen Slaw
Jen Slaw is the executive director of JugglingLife. In 2002, Jen Slaw received an award for her creativity and innovation through her talents with juggling. She began volunteering with JugglingLife in 2008. Jen aims to make a difference in the lives of others by not only entertaining them, but inspiring them to pursue their own creative dreams.
Billy Galewood (Bushwalla)
Billy Galewood, also known as “Bushwalla”, is Juggling Life’s celebrity spokesperson. The Cleveland native is a song writer and singer. In the summer of 2010, Bushwalla volunteered with Juggling Life at Camp Quality for children with cancer.
