Josie D'Ambola
Josie D'Ambola is a Canadian-born singer and writer of pop music. Her debut album, Rhythm In Me was co-produced, written, and released independently by D'Ambola.
History
D'Ambola started performing in front of audiences at the age of 9, and since then has won awards which include many regional Calgary talent and singing competitions and Government Grants. D'Ambola has performed and recorded with some of the world's top musicians and producers. She has also contributed her to projects ranging from radio and television commercials to a film soundtrack for an International Ski Film in which she recorded a duet called "Beyond Our Dreams" used to promote Canadian Hellicopter Skiing.
International success
In 1998, D'Ambola was the lead vocalist for the song titled "Ataturkiye", recorded by the Calgary group Vitan. The hit single commemorated the 75th anniversary of the Turkish Republic and the achievements of Kamal Ataturk of Turkey. The single is still used today for promotion of tourism in that country.
