Josh Sneed

Josh Sneed is an American comic from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Comedy

He finished 2nd out of 20 of Comedy Central’s top comedians in the Annual Stand-up Showdown, earning him a deal to record a new album on Comedy Central Records. In 2006, Josh filmed a 30-minute special, “Comedy Central Presents: Josh Sneed” that debuted in March 2007 and is currently re-airing. In November 2006, Josh placed 6th in the Sierra Mist/MySpace Stand-up or Sit Down Challenge out of over 2,000 entrants. Finishing high in competitions is nothing new to Josh. In 4th grade he earned a blue ribbon for throwing a softball through a tire. He has toured with such acts as Dave Chapelle, Dane Cook, Mitch Hedberg, Lewis Black, and various members of "The Blue Collar Comedy Tour". Josh has made several appearances on "The Bob & Tom Show", and his viral YouTube internet videos have developed quite the cult following.

Unacceptable

Unacceptable is Josh's Debut CD. It was released on September 30, 2008. The CD has sold over 1,500 copies, but Josh's Goal is 5,000. Unacceptable was produced with Comedy Central Records. It was originaly released as a digital album, but has been released as a hard copy exclusively on his website. Josh has said that he will sign all hard copies for free.

Look At Me Shirts

Look At Me Shirts is a web site run by Josh and graphic designer Darin Overholser. The site specialises in T-Shirts. There are basic funny shirts and sports shirts, but there are also Cincinnati shirts with Cincinnati Friendly sayings on them (Ex. Even God Hates The Steelers, and I Heart Duke Energy.) Look At Me Shirts also sells Adult Footed Pajamas, and T-Shirts made for Comedians such as Doug Benson and Dave Waite.

The Detention Show

Josh does a podcast with his friend and co-host, Mark Chalifoux. The Podcast is described by Josh as being like "A fly on the wall in a comedy greenroom." The Detention Show has gotten such guests as Jimmy Pardo, Doug Benson, and Eddie Gossling. The tagline for the show is "A show about comedy, pop culture, and your mom." The theme for the Show is a mixture of quotes from Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Jack Sneed

Jack Sneed is Josh's black Pug. He is the producer of The Detention Show. Jack Sneed has been described as a "Man's Dog." Jack is just like his master. If Josh drops a piece of salad, Jack will lick the dressing off, and refuse to eat the lettuce. Josh has a photo gallery of pictures of Jack on his Myspace page.
