Josh Haggas

Josh Haggas was born on January 29, 1971 in Whitesboro, New York. He played high school baseball for Notre Dame High School. Purdue University, University of Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech offered him scholarships to play college baseball. Haggas played at Virginia Tech with Brad Clontz of the Atlanta Braves. Haggas has the record at Virginia Tech for most assists by a shortstop in a game with 9. Haggas set this record against Cincinnati on May 16, 1991. Haggas was drafted by The New York Mets in the 22nd Round of 1992 amateur entry draft. Haggas played 3 seasons for the New York Mets.

Haggas currently hawks EZ-GO golf cars (Home of the number one golf car in the world). He is very fond of the new RXV model. When Haggas is not spending time with his favorite customer, Skybrook Golf Club, he spends his free time eating cheeseburgers and chocolate chip cookies. Since his playing days he has become morbidly obese, but still finds time to chair the Huntersville chapter of the Lesbian Gay Parade Coalition.
