Josh Costell

Josh Costell is an American actor from the Midwest who was born on November 1, 1987, in Toledo, Ohio. His parents are Larry and Linda Costell and he is the youngest of four children. He graduated from Springfield High School in Holland, Ohio in 2006.

Glass City

Josh's first role in a feature film was that of a high school senior named Kevin "K-dog" Mesner in Glass City . In the film, Josh's character is part of an eclectic group of kids called the Glass City Players. Kevin, a techie for life, works behind the scenes of various plays that the group puts on at the local art center. The film tells a story of self-discovery, forgiveness, and growth, in a city where it is least expected. The leads are played by Scott Wilson, Kiana Harris, and Sarah Katz. It was co-written and produced by John Klein And Co-written and directed by Cole Simon. The film will complete production early 2008.

Dogs of Chinatown

In his second feature film, Costell plays the part of a Triad thug in Micah Moore and Blake Faucette's "Dogs of Chinatown". The film also features martial art experts Eric Jacobus and Ray Carbonel. It tells the story of Jacobus and Huyen Thi (wife of director Danny Wilson), who are caught in a Romeo and Juliet romance while a war rages between the Italian Mafia and Chinese Triad. . The film will complete production mid 2008.

Other projects

Following the filming of Glass City, Costell played the part of a high school student in the short drama "Cry"; which is currently in post production. He is also featured in Madina Lake's music video "One Last Kiss"; and he plays a young cowboy in Korn's music video "Hold On".
