Joseba Andoni Aramayo
Joseba Andoni Aramayo (xoˈseba Andoni Aramaʝo), Basque Conductor of Orchestra, Graduated in Musikene, (2009). He is the creator of SIMMO concept (SImulation of the Music MOvement), and also is the creator of the two first SIMMO apps: Dot Conductor Web editor and Dot Conductor mobile app (patented on 2007 as Sine Metronome).
Graduated also in Music Theory, Music Pedagogy and Composition. During 2000-2003, He created a Model for the Music school management, based in the idea that the quality of events during the scholarship, with social character, create a motivational environment that becomes more efficient for the learning process of the students. In this period, as music Pedagogue, he created a method for children, Aramayo's Method, to teach the language of music for children between 5 and 7 years old.
On 2006, he got the idea of SIMMO, but for that he needed to write a Model of movement and defines with algorithms, the patterns of time and space of the music performance wave form. He started building the app in the last year of the degree, presenting it in his final graduation thesis as the "Theory of the Music Movement"
He wrote the "Interview with Celibidache" a fictitious interview between Mr Krotxa and Sergiu Celibidache. His Conducting Teacher, Enrique Garcia Asensio was student of Sergiu Celibidache during the Siena's Courses 1960-1963. Aramayo collected together with his teacher, the information that Celibidache transmitted in those courses, giving some coherence to the ideas that their self have a limitation to be explained without using a math model, and due the changes during years of transmission. With that, Aramayo recreated a conversation between Celibidache and a Journalist, Mr Krotxa, who is trying to interview Celibidache about his conducting technique ideas. Celibidache was using different language to explain his technique of conducting before and after 80s. Even his ideas continued being without a math model, in the 80s Celibidache started describing his theory on the technique using his music phenomenological language. Aramayo, in this interview is using the previous language, early 60s, more technical.
After finish his graduation, with no chance to work as a conductor, he moves to England to continue working on the SIMMO apps. During the time in England, He started working at Unilever factory making Hellmann's mayonnaise, to get funds to build the app. Because his unquiet mind, 2011-2014 created EMMA, (EMptying MAnagement), a system to account on live the ingredients and material left to finish the production, reducing effort, waste, and saving time. The system improves 1~2% the OEE year production of the line for each weekly change/End of production.
