Jordan Fein

Jordan Fein is a film director. He graduated from the New York University (NYU) Kanbar Institute of Film & Television.
Career
Fein’s feature documentary The Blessing premiered in 2018 and had its US broadcast premiere on PBS World Channel on November 24, 2020. It is the story of a Navajo medicine man raising his daughter as a single father while digging coal at Black Mesa, a mountain that is historically sacred to the Navajo people. The film won a Grand Jury Prize at the Dallas International Film Festival, a Big Sky Award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, was selected Best of Fest at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival, Best Native Feature Award at the Bend Film Festival, and Best Feature Documentary at the Arizona International Film Festival. The film is executive produced by actor Raoul Max Trujillo. It was screened at the Smithsonian Native Cinema Showcase in 2019 and curated in the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, from July 26, 2019 - October 31, 2019.
Fein directed commercial campaigns for companies like Adobe, Range Rover, Squarespace, and Verizon. as well as a Clio Award in 2016.
Fein was also the recipient of the Points North Fellowship and was artist in residence at the Montello Foundation. Fein is a member of the National Board of Review.
