Jonny Harline

Jonathan "Jonny" Harline (born November 6, 1982) in North Brunswick, New Jersey) is an American football tight end who is a practice squad player for The New York Giants of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Brigham Young.

College career

Harline played his college freshman year of football at Brigham Young University–Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho.

He was the starting tight end for the BYU Cougars through the 2006 football season. He was named to the CBS SportsLine.com All-America team in the tight end position following the 2006 season. He was also named first-team All-America by The Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, ESPN.com, College Football News, and Scout.com.

He is from New Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated from Orem High School in Utah.

Professional career

Following his college career, Jonny signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent after going undrafted in the 2007 NFL Draft.

After being released from the Colts, Jonny signed with the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 2, 2007, as a member of the practice squad.
