Jonathan Austin (filmmaker)

Jonathan Austin is a New York-based American Cinematographer.. Best known for his work with L.E.A.D Uganda, an educational leadership program, on several pronominal films shot in Uganda from 2009 to 2012 that showcases the students in L.E.A.D Uganda and their brilliant results. Austin is also known for this work on Koran Dunbar's Greencastle. and JP Azais’ film The Wind Blows. Austin is also a Creative Director for many productions. A variety of films, commercials and other creative content for a wide range of clients.

Austin began his career with NBC news in 2003 before moving to CTV National News in 2008, to work as editor and photographer at the Washington, DC news bureau. Austin lives in New York City.
